Home Sweet Home

This is kind of a weird angle of the house, but there she be! We're really excited as things are moving along, and can't wait to get in. Oh yeah, on a side note, I got a job today! I'll be working with an 8 yr. old boy with high functioning autism. Life is going good, hope all is well in Moscow!

Jeremy, my sister Emiline, our friend Mike, and I all went floating down the Boise River this Saturday, it was a blast! Jeremy and Mike and never gone before - and that's always fun to take a first timer. It was a great trip... though we did get distracted waving to some stranger and were carried away in a quick current under some tree branches... and though there was no bodily harm, are ego could not say the same. (Though I'm sure the stranger got a kick out of it!)

Sunday

We went to our new ward today. We were a little nervous, to tell you the truth, but of course it ended up being just great. Though, oddly enough, the first person that we ran into as we were walking in was Roxy Stinger! She's down visiting family, and we felt right at home. - Not to mention the fact that I'm from Caldwell, so I would get the strange looks until someone would say... "you're a Hogg, aren't you?" When I said yes, I swear you could hear the whole room go, "ahhhhh" and nod their heads. We even have a young couple who lives in the same neighborhood as us that already invited us over for dinner. The Lord certainly answered our prayers in helping to make us feel welcome. (Jeremy had decided he likes the ward, because since it was fathers day, the Elders Q. sat around and ate ice cream!)

We bought our house! Well, kind of... We put a bid on it, and they accepted our offer, but we still have to wait forever until we get into it. Its very anti-climatic really. But we're still excited, and can't wait to get in to it hopefully in July.
Otherwise, Jeremy is finding as much time as he can to go fishing, and I'm looking for a job... that's about all we got on our end... hopefully we hear from everyone else a little bit too.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
