Remembering

 I'm trying to remember how to post things to my page.   I just love reading blogs, and do some crafts on my own... maybe I'll get as far as to post some of those projects on here!

Why have I never seen this wonderful blog? How fun! Did you see the post I made on my blog yesterday with my latest Brinnsen scrap page? :)

lol It's probably because I only post on here about once a year. Facebook seems to be easier for me, for now at least. I did see Brinnsen's scrap page. It's adorable and I'm very grateful it's getting done somewhere. Sometimes I wish your page had a "like" button! Maybe I'll try to do some more updates on here for people too.

Hi,
I wanted to comment on the comment you left me on my blog about book club. I LOVED your thoughts on The Help and I responded to your comment there in the comments of that post. But I was wondering about 1984. Is that the name of the book? I haven't heard of it before and I am always on the lookout for a good read. I'm excited to get to know you!!

Connie, Thanks for writing on my little blog! (It made me feel very special.) 1984 is the title of the book, its a classic book written by George Orwell. "It's the story of one man's nightmare odyssey through a world ruled by warring states and a power structure that controls not only information, but also individual thought and memory. A minor functionary named Winston Smith joins a covert brotherhood and pursues a forbidden love affair against the cold, gray backdrop of the Republic of Oceania - only to become a hunted enemy of the state... and of Big Brother." I loved this book when I read it in high school, though I warn you it's kind of sad.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
